The annual TED conference is coming to Vancouver from its home in Long Beach, 
California, The TED conference (Technology, Entertainment, Design) started in 1984 and started as a dinner party.
Now tickets for the by-invitation-only event are $7500 but TED is a 5-Star event and I’ll let Mitch Joel, who is one of the smartest guys on the planet IMHO, tell you more on his internationally famous blog Six Pixels of Separation.
TED is important. And if you read Joel’s blog you’ll find out why. Also there are a ton of TED videos online for you to watch.
BTW TED-X, the travelling TED conference is coming to Waterloo on March 27. This is a great opportunity to immerse yourself in the TED experience.
